On February 6, 2014, a demonstration was held in front of the Dutch parliament in The Hague. Anass Aourag was found dead in the Wassenaar woods, exactly one year ago. Investigators determined that it was suicide. After his family looked over the autopsy report, they noticed that specific details were excluded. They also noticed that no DNA testing was done on Anass’ clothing. Independent pathologist, who studied the police of Anass’ body, concluded that the injures that he sustained were clear indicators that he was a victim of faul play. Family, friends and supporters came to the Dutch parliament to plie to the Dutch Minister of Justice, Ivo Opstelten, to put in a formal request to re-open the case. It didn’t matter how load they chanted, no one came out. As soon as the demonstrators left the area, interesting events began taking place. Check out the report and let us know what you think about these cowardly actions.
