All of us have had to look for work at one time or another, and all of us find it a lot of hassle. Then you have to update and send out your resume again; respond to job postings; get interviews. All of us would like to do something different or just say "Hey, I'm pretty good at something, you can hire me," but without all that hassle!
How can you just do what you like, earn a little extra money from it, without having to deal with all that red tape and the tax authorities? Everything is so over the top in the Netherlands. You have to go to the chamber of commerce; you have to keep accounts; you have to do this and that.
Many readers have responded with interest to my proposals not to file a tax return, but then wondered how you can still work as a self-employed person, for example. You still have to send an invoice and that invoice has to include VAT, because that is what the client wants.
On February 9 of this year, I announced that I was working on a solution. And just when we are living in a time of ever-increasing oppression; just when everything is being demanded in order to be able to work (QR code) in the near future; just when we need to find each other.
Wouldn't it be easy if you could just offer your qualities and someone could just hire you directly, without all the hassle? Just upload your work; a few pictures of who you are or what you do; a description and you're done.
So I thought it would make sense to build a website that makes that very simple. And to avoid paying taxes on what you do, your client signs a short contract stating that you get a donation, with volunteering in return. So do you still want to pay taxes? Your choice.
For all those people who have emailed me asking, Yes, but how am I going to do it? How am I going to make my money from now on? Just try it! The website is live! Get involved and promote it, because for everyone you refer to that website you can earn 2% on every hour worked.
A lot of hours I spent on this solution and just because we are all looking for something concrete, together we can make this a great success. Get involved and break free from the system! Click on the logo, go to the website and promote it all around you.

"Yes, but Vrijland, that's not going to work you know: Unfortunately, this doesn't succeed in avoiding taxes when you stay within the system. The little contract makes the work become a performance for the gift and with that you bring in a VAT obligation according to NL tax law."

I take the position that the signer of the law has no authority because of the unproven grace of God (as it is in the law in the Netherlands). I wrote the following articles about that, among others:

Question from a reader:
However, have a question about donating and volunteering in return through a contract between customer and supplier (provider of product and/or service). Is this contract completely legally sealed ?
Indeed, below is the maximum amount that may be donated (gifted) annually. In addition, donations should only be made to organizations with ANBI status.
'Everyone may give you a tax-free gift of €2,274 (€3,244 in 2021). You do not have to file a gift tax return on this.'
'A donation is a contribution to an organization to achieve its goal. A donation is another word for an endowment or gift. But donation is used only when donating to organization. You can donate in money as well as in items or by providing free work.
If the organization you make the donation to has ANBI status, you can (sometimes) deduct it from your taxable income or profit.
Someone who makes a donation is called a donor.
You can also make a donation after your death, by leaving the institution a legacy or naming it as your heir. You can make a bequest to a charity through the site.'
Answer:
Many countries are actually ruled by the crown. In the Netherlands, for example, it is the crown (represented by the king) that signs every law. Every law begins with the words "We, Willem Alexander, by the grace of God..."
This means that the law was signed on the assumption that the law is valid because the king has the grace of God. Since this grace of God has never been proven, it is possible to question the validity of the law.
Supplement:
In Belgium, the king signs by "the grace of the people," but even there you can dispute whether that grace exists. It is actually a form of racism to assume that the king has that grace and everyone else does not. No one has actually signed for that pardon; not even in Belgium.
