"To put it bluntly, this could push the German economy into the worst crisis since the end of World War II and destroy our prosperity. Especially for many small and medium-sized companies, this could mean the end. We cannot risk this!" stated Martin Brudermüller, CEO of BASF.
"A brief supply freeze would perhaps open the eyes of many - on both sides. It would make the magnitude of the consequences clear. But if we run out of Russian gas for a long time, then we really have a problem here in Germany. At BASF, we would have to scale back production at our largest site in Ludwigshafen or shut down completely if supply were to fall significantly and permanently below 50 percent of our maximum natural gas requirements. Minister Habeck has already activated the warning level of the gas emergency plan ahead of time."
Well, given that Russia believes that gas should henceforth be settled in Russian rubles, there is a good chance that Putin will turn off the gas tap if the Western countries feel they need to continue their sanctions. The deadline is exactly today. Yesterday Putin signed the decree, which becomes active as of today.
The website RT, which is blocked in Europe, reported the following about it:
Moscow's new gas payment schedule explained
A ruble account should be opened in an unapproved Russian bank abroad
Russian gas buyers from "unfriendly countries" will be required to open a ruble account in an unsanctioned Russian bank, RBC reported Thursday, citing sources with knowledge of the new payment mechanism.
"The proposed scheme requires the mandatory opening of accounts in Russian rubles in a Russian bank by a foreign buyer of Russian gas," a government source said. "The buyer's payment to Gazprom will have to be made exclusively in rubles."
A source close to Gazprom confirmed to RBC the structure of the new payment plan.
The deadline set by the Russian government to switch to rubles in gas payments is April 1."
Basically, Putin is thus forcing Western countries toward the ruble, effectively using their self-imposed sanctions, which make it impossible for Russia to do anything with dollars anymore, to actually give the ruble a more important position in the world currency market.
However, it remains important that we see through what is really going on here. Namely, what is really going on is that we are witnessing a war in which both Putin and the rest of the world leaders (including war actor in the war movie set Zelensky) are carrying out The Great Reset, hidden behind the alibi of a deliberately (by both sides) created war.
Who dares to face the fact that Vladimir Putin has not turned his back on his Young Global Leaders guru Klaus Schwab, but has jointly rigged this war with the West to achieve that Great Reset? The war is a big propaganda show for the stage and all the actors are playing their parts. It is not a war for Ukraine or against the Ukrainian people, but a war against the entire Western population.
How do you accomplish a Great Reset? By completely ruining the old existing system. This already began with the globally coordinated coronavirus psyop (where the finger pointing was also just for show) and is now being further realized through the staged war (where the finger pointing and accusing each other is also there for show).
The only way to break the old system of fiat money (endlessly - and unsecured by gold - reprinted money) and the hegemony of dollar, to be able to replace it with a global digital traceable currency (Central Bank Digital Currency, with bitcoin linked to it as the new gold standard perhaps?), is to crash the old system. It is part of the master script I described in many articles.
That master script involves civil war in the U.S., the breakup of NATO, chaos in Europe and ultimately a strong arm that will put order in its place. In the US, that will possibly be Israel and the civil war will lead to the formation of a new power bloc of merging the US with Canada. In Europe, it will probably lead to the resurrection of the Ottoman Empire (Turkey). I predicted all this already on December 30, 2021. The coming time will show whether I am right.
See through the master script and recognize who your enemy is. The enemy is not Russia (or whichever party you choose); the enemy is the executors of the master script. And they are also in the Hague. And they call themselves politicians, but are merely actors on the world stage performing the greatest popular deception ever.

The "play" is starting to take more and more twists and turns and the dependence on Russian gas is in Germany is at most 14% , 13% is other gas and the rest comes from other energy sources: coal, solar panels, wind turbines etc
Saw this pass by, can't find the original source so quickly.
Why shut down? Back to self support/independence, taking care of each other, because by going along with the script we are creating the world as they envision. Stop executing their plans. Make your own plan, inform yourself and follow your heart.
That's not true, which is why you can't find original sources.
True, Germany imports 14% RU gas and 13% gas from other countries. Martin sent me the chart on this by email.
But, it is totally unknown to me how to post/upload that graph in the comments.
The graph you sent me is from CNN and is the same as this one from Eurostat: https://static.dw.com/image/60978837_7.png
Surely Bloomberg shows a very different picture:
Yes Martin, it seems CCN has once again lived up to its name as a fake news network.
When I consult German sources, they also come up with different results.
Imports of gas Germany (2019)
Imported gas by Germany (%).
1. Russia 48%
2. Norway 24%
3. Netherlands 20% (!)
4. Germany 5% (not imported, of course)

Clearly, Germany cannot have a big mouth, should not support the Nazi regime in Ukraine, and should simply exchange their gas Euros at a Russian bank for Rubles.
If Germany fails to do so, then it is clear that they are cooperating in The Great Reset, then the German economy will collapse completely, followed by the Dutch economy.
No, you are unfairly turning the vote into the good versus the bad.
I understand that you have to make that contention, but in all my articles (including this one above) I argue precisely that it is not the West against Russia, but all sides working together.
The emphatic highlighting of the Nazi factions in Ukraine is precisely to contribute to "Ukraine is the evil one" or "No way, Russia is the evil one. That very narrative into which the mainstream and alternative media should suck us in.
In reality, both Putin and Zelensky are cronies of the same big club and, through the whipped up contradictions, are staging the war hoax; that war hoax intended to realize the agenda described in the article above.
Thank you for your insight.

"Asked whether the payments should be in roubles starting from Thursday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, "Absolutely no."
"As we discussed before, payments and delivery is a time consuming process ... This does not mean that a tomorrow's delivery should be paid (in roubles). From a technological point of view, this is a more prolonged process," he said."

"'Impossible' for Austria to ban Russian gas - energy giant
The repercussions for the economy would be too great"
"Austria is unable to stop buying Russian natural gas this year, the head of energy giant OMV, Alfred Stern, said in response to calls for European states to place an embargo on Russian supplies.
"Embargo on Russian gas is impossible if we are not ready to accept the dire consequences. Some countries could do it, but for Austria it is not possible this year... The phase-out of Russian gas comes at a price," he stated in an interview with Die Presse.
Stern explained that unlike some EU countries, Austria "is in a difficult position" when it comes to alternative energy sources, having "no access to the sea, no access to liquefied petroleum gas."
Stern is not alone in his views regarding Austria's dependence on Russian energy. Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer said earlier this week that he does not support any restrictions on the supply of oil and gas from Russia to Europe.
"From us there should be a clear rejection of any ideas about stopping the import of Russian gas or Russian oil," Nehammer said in an interview with OE24 TV.
Currently, gas storage facilities in Austria are only 13% full, media reports, citing industry sources"

What Russia is doing now is exactly the same thing the US did in 1971 iov the kabal mbv usual suspect kissinger, loosening the gold standard. Linking the currency to oil, now linking the ruble to the price of gas. Its all in the game...
